Professional Voice Over Workshop

Service Description

In the first session, we kick things off by studying you're current strengths and seeing where you can still improve. We continue with a study on how to get into character, and understanding the various scenarios encountered when recording scripts. Next we learn about refined control of your voice, more especially when it comes to the flow of energy, how to adjust your pace, when to vary your volume and how to express emotions better while recording a script. You'll get to record a new set of Demos with the new found skills. Here is what to expect: Unit 1: A needs analysis to establish Strengths & areas of improvement. Unit 2: Advanced Modulation & Voice Variation Unit 3: Enriching the script : Telling a story within the story. Unit 4: Silent Breathing Techniques. Unit 5: Energy, Volume, Emotion and Pace control. Unit 6: Perfecting Drop-ins. Unit 7: In Character projection. Unit 8: Advanced Microphone Techniques Unit 9: New Demo recordings. Each session is 2 hours long. To complete this level you'll need to attend 4 sessions. Each session is unique and builds on the previous sessions learning units.
